Stay wherever suits you. These are where the crew will be based in each city.
Beso Beach sits at Es Cavall d'en Borras, the first beach inside the Ses Salines Natural Park, a short hop from the La Savina ferry port on Formentera. There is no bridge, so the day is a fast ferry across and a quick taxi at the other end. Boats run all day every 30 minutes, so nobody waits on a group boat. Aim to land at Beso by around 12:45 pm to settle in before the group lunch.
Quick taxi or hotel car straight to the Estacion Maritima. Allow extra in club season when traffic near the marina backs up.
Aquabus also sails direct from Playa d'en Bossa beach, a scenic 60 minute ride, but departures are few. The Ibiza Town fast ferry is quicker and runs all day, so use that unless you want the slow scenic boat.
Ticket to boarding: buy online ahead or at the counter on the day. Foot passengers must be at the gate at least 15 minutes before departure, so in summer crowds plan to be at the terminal 30 minutes early. Buying online lets you skip the ticket queue, but you still have to be through the gate by the cutoff. Pick an open return so you can come back on any later boat.
Miss a boat and you only lose 30 minutes, the next one is right behind it.
What is actually ideal in each place, so nobody is stuck waiting on a cab before a reservation.
